'Man of Steel' tops U.S. DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- The Superman reboot "Man of Steel" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending Nov. 17 is "Turbo," followed by "Monsters University" at No. 3, "Grown Ups 2" at No. 4 and "White House Down" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" at No. 6, "Dexter: The Final Season" at No. 7, "The Heat" at No. 8, "The Little Mermaid -- Diamond Edition" at No. 9 and "The Croods" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Nov. 16 is "White House Down."

"Grown Ups 2" is No. 2, "The Heat" is No. 3, "Pacific Rim" is No. 4, "The Hangover Part III" is No. 5, "Monsters University" is No. 6, "The Croods" is No. 7, "The Purge" is No. 8, "After Earth" is No. 9 and "This is the End" is No. 10.
