'Monsters University' tops U.S. DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The animated family flick "Monsters University" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending Nov. 3 is "R.I.P.D.," followed by "The Heat" at No. 3, "The Conjuring" at No. 4 and "Pacific Rim" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Croods" at No. 6, "The Internship" at No. 7, "The Little Mermaid -- Diamond Edition" at No. 8, "Iron Man 3" at No. 9 and "The Hangover Part III" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Nov. 2 is "The Croods."

"Monsters University" is No. 2, "After Earth" is No. 3, "This is the End" is No. 4, "Iron Man 3" is No. 5, "World War Z" is No. 6, "Now You See Me" is No. 7, "The Great Gatsby" is No. 8, "Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain" is No. 9 and "The Frozen Ground" is No. 10.
