NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- New videos and fitness equipment are to become available this month as part of U.S. actress Jane Fonda's Workout brand, the company said.

Thursday's announcement comes nearly 30 years after Fonda released her best-selling fitness book and award-winning exercise video, "Jane Fonda's Workout."

The new offerings will roll out nationwide Dec. 26 exclusively at Target through the fitness supplier GoFit.

"I am thrilled to be able to bring an updated version of Jane Fonda's Workout to the next generation," Fonda, 72, said in a statement. "It's important for people to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which is one of the reasons that I have been and will continue to be very involved as the Workout brand evolves."

"Jane Fonda not only revolutionized the home workout experience, but she also created an approachable, well rounded, healthy way of living," said Richard Davis, co-founder of GoFit. "We are honored to be working so closely with Jane to reintroduce and continue to build and grow this amazing brand."

The new videos feature trainers personally selected by Fonda, the company said.
