Teen solves centuries-old math problem


CANNES, France, March 26 (UPI) -- "Robin Hood," director Ridley Scott's retelling of the classic adventure tale, will screen at the opening of France's 63rd Festival de Cannes, organizers said.
Starring Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Max Von Sydow, Lea Seydoux and William Hurt, the movie is to premiere May 12.
It will be presented out of competition, organizers said in a message on the festival's Web site Friday.
"Robin Hood" will be released in theaters in France the day of its presentation at Cannes. It is to open worldwide May 14.
The Festival de Cannes is scheduled to run from May 12-23.
