People's Choice nomination process begins

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Voting has begun to determine the top five nominees in each category for the 36th annual People's Choice Awards show in Los Angeles, CBS announced.

Fans can cast their votes for their favorites in music, movies and television at http://www.peopleschoice.com.

The top five nominees in each category will be announced Nov. 10 at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills during the annual People's Choice Awards press conference.

The prizes will be handed out at a show to be broadcast live from Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE Jan. 6 on CBS.

Queen Latifah is to serve as host of the festivities.
