Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Andy Samberg and his wife, singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. A rep for the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star confirmed the birth of his child to Us Weekly. The private couple have kept Newsom's pregnancy under wraps and did not publicly announce the arrival of their daughter.

No other details including the baby's name and exact date of birth have been announced at this time, noted People magazine.
Samberg, 38, and Newsom, 35, tied the knot in September 2013 after dating for five years.
"I love babies," Samberg told reporters previously in January 2016. "I would love to have a baby someday."
