LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Matt LeBlanc, most widely known for his portrayal of Joey Tribbiani on Friends, told a panel at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour that he wants to come back to host another season of the BBC's automotive-themed show Top Gear.

"I don't know. I would like to," LeBlanc said when asked about a possible return. "There's nothing officially happening yet. Follow the BBC."

LeBlanc hosted the 23rd season of the British series with English TV personality Chris Evans, who left the show last season.

While he's waiting on word about Top Gear, LeBlanc is promoting his new show Man with a Plan in which he plays a dad who is left to take care of the kids after his wife goes back to work.

Man with a Plan premieres on CBS on Oct. 24
