Kylie Minogue, fiance deny wedding took place

LONDON, June 8 (UPI) -- Kylie Minogue and fiancé Joshua Sasse haven't married just quite yet.

The 48-year-old Australian singer and 28-year-old British actor set the record straight after an Aussie publication reported they had a secret wedding in Greece.

"Apparently I was at a big fat Greek wedding...wish I'd been there! @kylieminogue #rumoursrumoursrumours," Sasse wrote. Minogue re-tweeted her fiancé's post.

Woman's Day had claimed the couple recently wed on the Greek island of Sifnos. Sources told the magazine Minogue flew her in her family and friends under the pretense of celebrating her birthday, which falls May 28.

Minogue and Sasse were first linked in September and announced their engagement in February. The actor is best known for playing the title character on ABC series Galavant, which Minogue guest starred on in January.

"I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together," the singer previously said of their age difference. "So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right ... Even if I try and act cool and natural, it's written all over my face that I am very happy."

Minogue last released the holiday album Kylie Christmas in November. Galavant was canceled after two seasons in May, but Sasse will go on to star on the new CW series No Tomorrow.
