LOS ANGELES, May 10 (UPI) -- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed their new duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," live for the first time on The Voice.

The couple appeared together on stage Monday night to sing, never breaking eye contact while they were together.

Stefani, 46, wore a glittering gown with sheer straps and sides during the performance while Shelton, 39, opted for a classic white shirt and dark vest. "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" will appear on Shelton's upcoming country album, If I'm Honest.

The song comes soon after Stefani released her own single, "Make Me Like You," inspired by her relationship with Shelton, which began late last year. The song is featured on her latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like.
