Amber Rose on dating Kanye West: I didn't love him

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Amber Rose never loved ex-boyfriend Kanye West while they were together.

The 32-year-old model discussed her relationship with the 38-year-old rapper Friday on the Allegedly podcast after she and estranged husband Wiz Khalifa feuded with West on Twitter.

"Real love was with my husband [Wiz], my soon-to-be ex-husband," Rose declared. "When you really find love, you just know. So you look back your past relationships and go, 'Eh, I didn't love those fools' ... He was the love of my life. He was the only man I've ever loved."

West slammed Khalifa in a series of tweets Wednesday after mistakenly thinking the 28-year-old rapper posted about his wife, Kim Kardashian. Rose, who dated West for two years, later joined the conflict by tweeting about the 38-year-old's alleged sexual preferences.

Rose and Khalifa welcomed Sebastian in February 2013, and were married 14 months before the model filed for divorce in September 2014. She has since dated Machine Gun Kelly, and complained of a double standard in a Time op-ed this week.

"After my ex-husband Wiz Khalifa and I got a divorce, I'd go out for a date at a restaurant like any normal single human and people would say, 'Man, she's such a ho,'" she wrote. "Then they would see my ex-husband with a bunch of women. They would say, 'He's the man! That's so cool.'"

"People would actually say things like, 'Who would ever love you? You were a stripper. Why are you in relationships?'" she shared. "And I used to feel like I had to explain that maybe it was because I'm a good person ... But in the past year, I've just started not caring."

Rose led a Slut Walk in Los Angeles in October to promote her foundation's mission of "uplifting, empowering and enhancing the platform of women across the globe." She and West previously feuded after the rapper said he had to "shower 30 times" after dating Rose.
