Seth Meyers samples Boston accents in fake movie trailer

NEW YORK, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Late Night host Seth Meyers stars in a fake movie trailer showcasing the variety of accents found in the greater Boston area.

Titled Boston Accents, the comedic film trailer, aired Thursday, spoofs the collection of devices and themes supposedly worked into major films set in Beantown including, "people talking about loyalty and Southie and all that other Boston stuff."

Meyers plays all the male characters who reflect different types of male Bostonians as portrayed in films, with a cameo from Saturday Night Live actress Rachel Dratch.

Nodding to The Departed, Good Will Hunting, The Town and Black Mass, the film was warmly received by those at Boston.com, who called the clip "almost too good to summarize."
