Jena Malone announces pregnancy on Instagram

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Actress Jena Malone -- known for her roles in The Hunger Games and upcoming flick Batman V Superman -- is expecting her first child.

Malone announced her pregnancy on Instagram alongside an artistic maternity photo taken by her boyfriend, "beautiful hearted baby daddy" Ethan DeLorenzo.

"Womb to womb, to beating wing, I climbed out of the eternal, And into the shape of me," Malone wrote in the polaroid's caption. "Some words I wrote years ago when I was thinking about my own mother. And the woman she was when she had me. And the woman I was reaching to become."

"The shape your desires make out of you. The body you become to hold your dreams," she continued. "It's with two feet firmly on the ground and a heart swelling in an ocean of love that I'd like to share the new shape I am becoming to hold the greatest dream of them all."

At the end of her caption, Malone, who also starred in the film Into The Wild in 2007, credited her boyfriend DeLorenzo for taking the photo on Impossible Project film. "Polaroid taking by my beautiful hearted baby daddy @uglyhippie," she wrote.
