LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Just a week after Captain America and Iron Man fought it out in the new trailer for Captain America: Civil War, the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice upped the ante.

Ben Affleck, the current Batman, brought the trailer with him for his appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday and the three-minute trailer with almost all new footage showed serious tension and serious brawling between the two classic comic book superheroes.

"If I wanted it, you'd be dead already," Superman yells at Batman in the trailer.

Plus, it also revealed Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman and the villain known as Doomsday. The villain is infamous to comic book fans as the one who killed Superman.

Last week, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. unveiled the Captain America: Civil War trailer on the same show.

Both films are expected to be blockbusters next year. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25 and starts Affleck, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
