LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Exes Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy reunited Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote their new ABC show, The Muppets.

The pair, who split back in August, spoke to the late night host about what caused the breakup and if there was any chance they might get back together.

"Well, Piggy and I had a great relationship for many, many years, and we sort of wanted different things," Kermit said.

Piggy chimed in saying, "It's the usual laundry list. You know, put the lid down, closing the refrigerator door, not doing the dishes while taking a bath in the sink!"

The ending of their relationship made headlines worldwide, a fact not lost on Miss Piggy.

"Anything that happens to me is going to be front page news," Piggy explained. "I'm sort of like the Donald Trump of love. Everything I do is huge!"

Kimmel then brought up Kermit's alleged new sultry pig girlfriend Denise.

"She looks to be young. She looks to be just a little piglet," Kimmel said while looking at a photo of Kermit's new lady. "Well, she's old enough, but not as old as she could be," Kermit responded as a jab toward Miss Piggy.

Miss Piggy has also started to move -- on Monday she revealed the top things she's looking for in a date, including "A-List:, photogenic, and having a lot of money and being sensitive to her needs.

To close out the interview, the comedian tried his best to get the former lovers to reconcile.

"Is there any chance you guys could kiss and make up right here on the show?," Kimmel asked. "Absolutely not," they both answered in unison.
