NEW YORK, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Damon Wayans Sr. has lashed out to critics he claims have "twisted" his words after a controversial radio interview last week. The In Living Color comedian says he is being being painted as a villain for comments made regarding the scandal around Bill Cosby. During the interview Wayans called it a "money hustle" and some of the alleged victims "un-rape-able."

"Stop twisting my words. Watch the entire interview before u condemn me!" he wrote on social media Sunday, Sept. 6 after heeding a heavy wave of criticism.
"How big is his penis that it gives you amnesia for 40 years?" Wayans asserted during the radio interview with The Breakfast Club on New York's Power 105.1. "If you listen to them talk, they go, 'Well, the first time...' The first time? [Expletive], how many times did it happen? Just listen to what they're saying and some of them really is un-rape-able. You just look at them and go, 'You don't want that. Get outta here."
Wayans subsequently pushed the idea Cosby was being condemned so harshly because he was African American.
"You know what Bill Cosby did wrong? He started criticizing young black men, and then he lost us, and so we're not supporting him and they see that opening so now, you know what? 'Attack him! Kill him!'" Wayans continued. "But the dude from 7th Heaven, his show's still on TV. Woody Allen's making shows and movies."
"It's a money hustle," he said.
Days later, Wayans posted a video from the interview clearly showing the comedian showing sympathy for those who have come forward to say Cosby assaulted them. "My heart goes out to them," he says in the clip. "For anybody who was raped by Bill Cosby, I'm sorry, and I hope you get justice."
