ANCHORAGE, Alaska, July 21 (UPI) -- Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, debuted her baby bump via a photo shared on Instagram.

Palin, 24, uploaded a selfie to Instagram last week showing her wearing a loose-fitting white top and black jacket inside the dermatology office where she works as an assistant. The photo caption read "Celebrated six years working for the best people I know .. This place is my home (I actually have a job #shocker)."

Palin's baby bump is faintly seen through her clothing. Instagram users commenting on the photo expressed their wish to see future images of Palin's baby bump.

The selfie follows Palin's June 25 announcement that she was pregnant with her second child. Upon announcing it, Palin conceded that her second pregnancy will be a huge disappointment to her family and that she wanted others to respect her and her 6-year-old-son Tripp's privacy during this time. She rejected any lectures or sympathy.

The father of Palin's second child remains unknown. Palin was set to marry former U.S. Marine Dakota Meyer on May 23, but the wedding was called off on May 18. Palin has not yet confirmed whether she and Meyer are still together, instead claiming that she is ready for whatever challenges lay ahead and that her small family has always come first.

Palin and Tripp's father, Levi Johnston, ended their engagement in 2010.
