ROGERS, Ark., April 8 (UPI) -- Jessa Duggar and her family have shared the first photos of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's newborn son Israel.
The 22-year-old reality star took to Instagram to congratulate her sister and post a picture of the infant, writing, "Congrats to my sister @jillmdillard, and brother-in-law, @derickdillard, on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Israel David Dillard! Born last night at 11:49pm! 9 lbs 10oz & 23in. long!"
The Duggar family also shared a series of photos on Facebook, while matriarch Michelle Duggar wrote an update about the couple on her blog.
"Our sweet new grandson, Israel David Dillard is here," she announced. "We love him so much already and we love his name! Our Jill is doing wonderful and Derick seems to have a permanent smile on his face now! ... We are happy grandparents!"

Jill Duggar and Dillard welcomed their son Monday evening. The couple married in June 2014, and kept fans religiously updated on the 23-year-old reality star's pregnancy via social media. Israel arrived 13 days after his expected due date.
He’s here! Israel David Dillard has made his arrival. He was born at 11:49pm on April 6, 2015. He weighed 9 lbs and 10 ounces and measured 23 inches long. We think he’s adorable! Mom and baby are both doing wonderful. Watch their personal video message on their website here:

The Duggar family currently stars on TLC reality series 19 Kids & Counting. The program follows Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children, and will broadcast a special episode dedicated to Israel's birth May 5. New episodes air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
