LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Bruce Jenner may indeed be responsible for his recent fatal car crash.

Officials told the Los Angeles Times a new bus surveillance video shows the 65-year-old reality star hitting two vehicles with his Escalade: rear-ending Kim Howe's Lexus into the path of a Hummer and then striking a Toyota Prius driven by Jessica Steindorff.

The footage is significant because it purportedly sees Jenner collide with both cars, supporting claims he was following too closely behind Howe. Initial reports said Howe rear-ended Steindorff before being hit by Jenner, but the new evidence reveals Howe and Steindorff never made contact.

Howe, 69, was killed after her Lexus crashed into the Hummer in the southbound lane of traffic Feb. 7. Jenner previously denied wrongdoing, but expressed his sympathies in a statement and promised to cooperate with police.

TMZ obtained a re-creation video of the crash, which reportedly reflects but is not based on the surveillance footage. Law enforcement was careful to say the collision is still being investigated, but Jenner may face manslaughter charges if found responsible for the wreck.
