NASHVILLE, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Carrie Underwood has discovered a practical use for her growing baby bump.

The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter to share a new pregnancy photo Thursday. Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are currently expecting their first child, and the star posted a picture of herself using her belly as a table.

"Pregnancy perk: using my belly as a tabletop for my snacks! Nom nom nom..." she captioned the silly snapshot.

Underwood and Fisher married in July 2010, and announced the singer's pregnancy on Twitter in September 2014. Fisher is a 34-year-old NHL star who currently plays center for the Nashville Predators.

Underwood released her fourth studio album, Blown Away, in May 2012. The singer's new single, "Something in the Water," topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs for a seventh time this week, her longest No. 1 reign on the chart.
