LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Anna Kendrick goes on a misadventure in a new holiday ad for Kate Spade New York.
The spot is titled "The Waiting Game," and features the 29-year-old actress and a dog getting locked out of her townhouse upon returning from a Kate Spade shopping spree.
While waiting for a locksmith on her front doorsteps, Kendrick begins to try on all the things she purchased at the the store and takes selfies to documents her misfortune. Eventually, and with the help of most of her purchases, the actress finds a way to break into her house.
Kendrick's campaign with the fashion house looks to promote the brands's new motion-touch technology, which allows users to shop for items featured in the ad by clicking on them in the video.
The actress first teased the short in an Instagram post Friday.
