LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Eminem referenced a recent NFL scandal in a new rap in which he threatens to punch singer "Lana Del Rey Twice, Like Ray Rice."

The rapper mentions the video that finds the former Ravens running back beating Janay Rice and later dragging her unconscious body out of an elevator after using derogatory term to talk about Anderson Cooper's sexuality. The full verse says:

"But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? Bitch I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/'Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens."

While Del Rey has expressed her admiration for the rapper in the past -- she said in 2012 he was "the master of lyrics" -- Eminem is well known for mocking female celebrities in his songs and has previously targeted the likes of Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears in previous tracks.
