Google Maps debuts Pokémon Challenge in honor of April Fool's Day

Google Maps has unveiled a special treat for Pokémon fans in honor of April Fool's Day.

The service has debuted a Pokémon Challenge that allows people to search for 150 Pokémon and collect the creatures in a Pokédex. Users can find the Pokémon if they zoom in on different areas of the world in the Google Maps app.

Google debuted a video on Monday that calls upon fans to meet their Pokémon Challenge. Google Maps Vice President Brian McClendon says in the video that the challenge winner will be hired as the company's "Pokémon Master."

The position, unfortunately, is an April Fool's joke, but fans can still catch 'em all in the Google Maps app beginning today.
