BONNIE FRANKLIN: Bonnie Franklin's representative told "Entertainment Tonight" Monday the former star of U.S. sitcom "One Day at a Time" is battling pancreatic cancer.

Franklin, 68, headlined the show from 1975-84.

"Actress Bonnie Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment," a family spokesman told "ET" in a statement Monday.

"She and her family remain extremely positive and thank everyone for their support and concern. Respect for her privacy is greatly appreciated."

Mackenzie Phillips, who played Franklin's daughter Julie on the show, took to Twitter Monday to offer her support.

"Sending out love and sweet prayers to my 'mom'. The incomparable Bonnie Franklin," Phillips tweeted.

KATIE COURIC: Katie Couric said on her U.S. talk show Monday she was bulimic in college and for "two years after that."

Couric revealed her past eating disorder during a discussion on "Katie" with Dr. Cynthia Bulik, an expert on the subject, UsMagazine.com said.

"Dr. Bulik, I imagine that these things are very familiar to you. I wrestled with bulimia all through college and for two years after that," Couric said.

"I know this rigidity, this feeling that if you eat one thing that's wrong, you're full of self-loathing and then you punish yourself, whether it's one cookie or a stick of gum that isn't sugarless, that I would sometimes beat myself up for that," she said. "How do you have a healthy relationship with food, and say, 'You know what, I can have one cookie and it's OK?'"

The show also featured an interview with Demi Lovato, a 20-year-old singer-actress who sought help for her own body-image issues, including an eating disorder and self-abusive behavior, in 2010.

SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR: Sarah Michelle Gellar's publicist says the television actress has given birth to her second child, a son, in Los Angeles.

"Sarah Michelle and Freddie Prinze Jr. are thrilled to announce that they welcomed a baby son into the world this past week," her representative told UsMagazine.com Monday.

"Mother and baby are doing great and Charlotte is very excited to be a big sister."

No other details regarding the baby's birth were immediately available.

Gellar and Prinze Jr. met on the set of the 1997 movie "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and married in 2002. They are also the parents of 3-year-old Charlotte Grace.

MARK McGRATH: Musician Mark McGrath married his longtime girlfriend Carin Kingsland in Southern California Monday morning, People.com reported.

About 60 friends and family members attended the service, while the couple's 2-year-old twins -- son Lydon and daughter Hartley -- were the ring bearer and flower girl, the website said.

"After 18 years of breakups, makeups, beautiful twins and an unwavering love that provided some pretty damn good song lyrics, we are happy to announce that we are finally married!" the couple said in a statement to People.com.

McGrath is the front man for the rock band Sugar Ray.
