Levi the heavy in Bristol Palin's memoir

NEW YORK, June 18 (UPI) -- Bristol Palin may only be 20 but she has plenty of regrets to air in her memoir that comes out next week, Britain's The Daily Telegraph said.

Sarah Palin's single-mom daughter teamed up with writer Nancy French on "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," which chronicles her life growing up and her unfortunate relationship with paramour Levi Johnston.

The Daily Telegraph said Saturday that despite her mom's high public profile, Bristol devotes much of the book to Johnston, including the camping trip with him that led up to the loss of her virginity.

Johnston fares poorly in the book, The Telegraph said. Bristol described the father of her child as a cheating slacker whom she considers a "gnat."

""I'd just made a complete fool of myself and given my family the middle finger," she laments in recalling her final break with Johnston.

Johnston went on to modest notoriety with a cheesecake spread in "Playgirl" magazine, a project Bristol writes made her want to "puke."

Marilyn dress tops movie costume auction

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 18 (UPI) -- Auctioneers expect Marilyn Monroe's famed subway dress to fetch up to $2 million at Saturday's auction of actress Debbie Reynolds' movie costume collection.

The iconic ivory halter dress is the same one that went billowing up over her legs as she stood on a New York subway grate in the 1955 film "The Seven-Year Itch."

The Monroe dress is among more than 500 costumes Reynolds acquired over the years and placed on the block Saturday in Beverly Hills.

The catalogue also includes some well-known garments such as the gingham dress Judy Garland wore for her "Wizard of Oz" tests, and the modest frock Julie Andrews was dressed in for the opening scene of "The Sound of Music."

Britain's The Daily Telegraph said the auction was one of the most important sales of Hollywood memorabilia since the liquidation of the inventory at MGM and Fox studios in the 1970s.

Mouzi has carved out a name for herself in the world of goth, which TMZ described as an edgy "fetish catering to the dark realms of fantasy."

Mouzi, who appeared on the red carpet at the LA Fetish Film Festival Awards, is a Greek citizen who is in the United States on a visitor's visa and is interested in extending her stay.

Current eyes reuniting Olbermann, Maddow

NEW YORK, June 18 (UPI) -- The fledgling cable network Current is jockeying for position to be a major player in the coverage of the 2012 U.S. presidential election, a top executive said.

Joel Hyatt, executive vice chairman of Current, told the Huffington Post he would like to see a second news show on the air early next year to bookend Keith Olbermann's "Countdown."

"We have a chance to play a significant role in election coverage," Hyatt said.

The Los Angeles Times said Olbermann this week pitched the idea of luring former colleague Rachel Maddow to Current once her contract with MSNBC expires.

One of Olbermann's contributors, Markos Moulitsas, told the Huffington Post that reuniting Maddow and Olbermann would turn Current into a voice independent of corporate ownership.
