McQueen hanged himself in his flat earlier this month on the eve of his mother's burial. He was 40.

People.com said the younger McQueen's private funeral took place at St. Paul's Church in Knightsbridge.

London's Evening Standard reported McQueen's father, Ronald, and Alexander's five siblings attended Thursday's service.

A public memorial is expected to take place later this year, a spokeswoman for McQueen's label told People.com.

"We are focusing right now on the Paris show, which takes place on March 9," she said, referring to a planned showing of McQueen's latest line of clothing during Paris Fashion Week.

Leif Garrett pleads innocent in drug case

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Actor and singer Leif Garrett has pleaded innocent in Los Angeles to heroin possession, officials said.

The charge stems from Garrett's Feb. 1 arrest at a subway station.

Police said they approached Garrett after spotting him sweating and shaking as he was about to board a train. Garrett allegedly informed the officers he had black tar heroin hidden in his shoe, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The 48-year-old actor is due back in court March 16.

Garrett's lawyer Andrew Flier told the newspaper the allegations are "out of character" for the actor, who has long battled an addiction to drugs, but reportedly has been trying to clean up his act in recent years.

"He's completely stayed out of trouble, he's changed his life a lot, he's taking care of his mother," Flier told the Times.

Garrett's film credits include "Shaker Run," "Thunder Alley" and "The Outsiders." He also had a recurring role on TV's "Family."

Koenig's parents leave before 'King' chat

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Larry King says Andrew Koenig's parents left the set of his U.S. chat show before being interviewed and without offering any explanation about their departure.

Koenig, 41, is a former star of the TV sit-com "Growing Pains" and the son of "Star Trek" icon Walter Koenig, who played Chekov in the original series.

His family reported him missing Sunday, a week after they had last heard from him. The younger Koenig, who suffers from depression, missed a scheduled Feb. 16 flight home to California from Vancouver without letting anyone know why.

Koenig's parents and sister have been talking to the media this week, pleading with the actor to call home and asking for anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the authorities.

"For some reason unbeknownst to anyone, Walter Koenig, the father of the missing Andrew Koenig, and (Andrew's mother) Judy Levin-Koenig ... left the studio in Vancouver," E! News quoted King as saying on his CNN chat show "Larry King Live" Wednesday. "We checked them out. They were prepared to go on. I said 'hello.' They said 'hello.' We said we'd be on in two minutes, they said 'fine.' And they got up and left for reasons unknown."
