NEW YORK, June 3 (UPI) -- Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden have agreed to extend their runs in the Broadway play "God of Carnage," producers said.

The stage comedy's four leads earned Tony Award nominations for their work in "Carnage," which also garnered a mention for best play. The Tonys are to be presented at a ceremony in New York Sunday.

The "Carnage" cast members are to extend their contracts through Nov. 15, after the entire production takes a six-week summer hiatus beginning July 27 to allow the ensemble to fulfill previously scheduled family commitments.

The show will resume performances Sept. 8.

"We are delighted that Jeff, Hope, James and Marcia are having such a wonderful time performing in 'God of Carnage' that they have decided to extend their contract," lead producers Stuart Thompson and Robert Fox said in a joint statement. "Now, even more theatergoers will be able to experience Yasmina Reza's magnificent sold-out play."
