LOS ANGELES, March 25 (UPI) -- Denise Richards and her professional dance partner became the second couple booted off of this season's "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.
Richards and Maksim Chmerkovskiy learned their fate Tuesday night. Their fellow competitors, the injured Steve-O and Steve Wozniak, earned the lowest scores from the judges after dancing Monday night but support from their fans kept them in the competition.
"I had fun! When else am I going to get to dress up like this, work with someone like Maks and be able to do a family show that my daughters can watch together?" Richards -- an actress, reality television personality and mother of two young daughters -- told People magazine after the live results show Tuesday night.
"I feel bad for (Maks.) He hasn't won and I think this is the first time he's been eliminated second," Richards said, hugging the professional dancer.
"It's fine. It's all a show," Chmerkovskiy said. "I wish we could stay as long as we could because I could see very big improvements with her week in, week out."
Singer Belinda Carlisle was the first celebrity eliminated from the competition this season.
