LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- British actress Christina Cole has signed on to star in a pilot for a possible new Fox drama series, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Cole, 26, has appeared in the films "What a Girl Wants" and "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day," and starred in the U.K. TV series "Hex" and "Lost in Austen."

The entertainment industry trade newspaper said the actress has been cast as a brilliant young surgeon who suffers adult-onset schizophrenia, but thrives, in Ian Biederman's as-yet-untitled TV project for Fox.
Biederman has also worked on the TV shows "Shark" and "Crossing Jordan."
