Spears to appear on 'The X Factor'

LONDON, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Britney Spears has agreed to perform on "The X Factor," a spokeswoman for the British talent competition series said.

"She will be appearing on the show as a special guest, but we're not confirming the date yet," the spokeswoman told the BBC.

Emma Bunton, Kimberley Walsh, Sinitta and Shane Filan have also signed on to be judge mentors on the popular talent series this season, the British broadcaster said.
