LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Christina Ricci is to appear in a three-episode arc of the second season of the TV drama "Saving Grace," TNT announced Monday.

Ricci has appeared in the films "Mermaids," "Sleepy Hollow," "The Addams Family," "The Opposite of Sex," "Monster" and "Speed Racer."

She will play Detective Grace Hanadarko's temporary partner on "Saving Grace," TNT said.

Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter plays Grace, a character the network describes as "an intense Oklahoma City police detective whose wild personal life translates into a no-holds-barred approach to her detective work."
