LONDON, May 7 (UPI) -- A representative for the British rock band Oasis said previously unreleased songs that have been leaked onto the Internet were not recently recorded.

The songs -- "I Wanna Live in a Dream in My Record Machine," "Nothing on Me" and "Stop the Clocks" -- have appeared on several different Web sites.

An Oasis representative told the BBC the tunes were "old" and won't necessarily appear on the band's new studio album, which is set for release later this year.
