LOS ANGELES, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Halle Berry’s ex-husband, singer Eric Benet, said he wished the pregnant Hollywood actress well, People.com reported Thursday.
"I wish Halle and her partner a healthy baby and all the happiness in the world," Benet said in a statement release to People by his manager.

Berry announced she was three months pregnant on Tuesday.
The baby’s father is Gabriel Aubry, a 32-year-old model she met during a Versace photo shoot in Los Angeles in November 2005.
Benet and Berry married in January 2001, but their romance ended after Benet confessed to cheating. The couple separated in October of that year and six months later were divorced.
