Carl Bernstein writes Hilary Clinton bio

WASHINGTON, April 24 (UPI) -- Carl Bernstein, who along with Bob Woodward, broke the Watergate scandal that toppled a U.S. presidency, has just completed a biography of Hilary Clinton.

Scheduled to be published this June, "A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hilary Rodham Clinton," is the result of eight years of research, including more than 200 interviews with the New York senator's friends, colleagues and adversaries, ABC reported Tuesday.

As reporters for The Washington Post, Bernstein and Woodward are best remembered as the pair who unraveled the story of the Watergate break-in that led to the eventual resignation of then-President Richard Nixon.

According to publisher Alfred A. Knopf, the 640-page book includes details of Clinton's life through her decision to run for the presidency.
