Sports film fest part of Tribeca festival

NEW YORK, March 21 (UPI) -- The Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival with feature-length movies and a free day of sports-related events will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

In its debut, the sports film festival will offer screenings of 14 feature-length films, including 12 world premieres, a "Tribeca Talks" panel discussion and "Sports Saturday," a free, outdoor day of sports-related games and demonstrations, Tribeca officials said in a news release.

The sixth annual Tribeca Film Festival will be April 25-May 6.
