My Chemical Romance atop Blender poll

NEW YORK, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- My Chemical Romance, Justin Timberlake and Gnarls Barkley picked up top awards in New York-based Blender magazine's 2006 Readers' Poll.

My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" was named the year's best album, edging out Timberlake's "Futuresex/love sounds," TeenHollywood.com said. Gnarls Barkley was named New Artist Of The Year and Timberlake's "My Love" was named Song Of The Year.

Other winners and losers in the magazine poll include Lindsay Lohan, Trainwreck Of The Year; Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock, Couple Of The Year; Ashlee Simpson, Nip/Tuck Of The Year, and Richard Pryor, Saddest Farewell.

In the magazine's main poll, My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" beat the Arctic Monkeys' "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" on the Best Album list. Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" topped the Greatest Songs Of 2006 countdown.
