SAN DIEGO, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Sportscaster Jim Lampley was arrested in suburban San Diego late Wednesday on suspicion of domestic violence.
Details of the alleged incident were not released, however the Web site TMZ.com said the HBO boxing announcer was picked up at his girlfriend's place in the coastal city of Encinitas.

The San Diego County sheriff's office said Lampley was suspected of violating a restraining order. It was not known if anyone was hurt in the alleged incident.
Lampley, who was once married to San Diego news anchor Bree Walker, was released on bail.
