LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- A defamation lawsuit against former "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc over an incident at a Canadian strip club has been dropped by the woman who filed it.
E! Online said no reason was given for why Stephanie Stephens dropped the actor from the Los Angeles Superior Court suit, brought after LeBlanc detailed the incident in a 2005 tabloid article.
The 39-year-old actor had admitted that his actions at the Victoria, British Columbia, strip club weren't ideal as he was married at the time of the incident, yet he has maintained Stephens was partially to blame as well.
"I was drinking, and she was crossing the line," LeBlanc has explained. "She was in my face, pushing her breasts into me and grabbing my hands to go all over her body. She was telling me to caress her, and in my head, I'm thinking, What's going on?"
The Web site said that the conclusion of the lawsuit comes just as LeBlanc's attorney, Michael Weinstein, was set to defend his client's action under the flag of free speech.
