The Los Angeles Times noted Monday while Clint Eastwood's new "Letters From Iwo Jima" made the list, the companion film "Flags of Our Fathers" was conspicuously absent. Also not making the cut was the acclaimed Martin Scorsese gangster flick "The Departed."

The Top 10 movies also included "The Devil Wears Prada," "United 93," "Dreamgirls," "Half Nelson," "Inside Man," and "Happy Feet."

The TV list was rounded out by "Dexter," "Elizabeth I," "Battlestar Galactica," "South Park," "Heroes," "The Office," and "Friday Night Lights."
