'America's Got Talent' is No. 1

LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- "America's Got Talent" topped the charts as last week's most-watched prime-time television broadcast, Nielson Media Research told the Hollywood Reporter.

In its second week on the air, the NBC show, hosted by Regis Philbin, had 11 million viewers and strong ratings in the 18-49 year-old demographic, said Nielson Media Research, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter.

The show bumped Fox's reality series "Hell's Kitchen" to the No. 2 spot with 8 million viewers, said the Hollywood Reporter.

Fox also had the next two shows in the list. "House" was seen by some 9.8 million viewers and "So You Think You Can Dance/Wednesday" by 8.8 million viewers. "So You Think You Can Dance/Thursday" had 8.5 million viewers and was fifth, the Hollywood Reporter said.
