Barbara Walters comes to Sirius radio

NEW YORK, June 27 (UPI) -- ABC's Barbara Walters is heading for satellite with a show on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Barbara Walters' "Best of the Very Best", a two-hour show presenting a selection of her interviews over the past 30 years, will launch early next year, Mediaweek reported Tuesday.

She has also agreed to host four times per year a new, live call-in show, Ask Barbara Anything which will debut this fall.

"Barbara Walters is a pioneer in the world of broadcasting. Her intelligence, honesty and integrity have broken ground in television and opened many doors for women in journalism," said Scott Greenstein, president of entertainment and sports for Sirius.
