Jackie Chan hurt while filming, better now

HONG KONG, March 29 (UPI) -- Martial arts film hero Jackie Chan reported feeling better Wednesday after being injured while filming the action/comedy "Rob-B-Hood" in Hong Kong.

Chan was kicked in the chest by a stuntman during a fight sequence being filmed last week, he reported on his Web site www.jackiechan.com.

Chan went to the hospital where doctors pronounced him in "good shape," but he said he continued to feel pain for several more days.

"These things just happen," Chan said. "I always put safety first when filming, but still, sometimes things just go wrong. It was just an ordinary accident.

"The stuntman working with me had on the wrong shoes and I got hurt."

Chan said he was now "feeling better" but did not say whether filming had resumed.
