LONDON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Ralph Fiennes' 11-year relationship with Francesca Annis has been thrown into turmoil by a woman's claims of a two-year affair with the actor.
Romanian singer Cornelia Crison, 31, said she had been seeing Fiennes, 43, behind the back of his longtime partner, Annis, 62, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Crisan said "The English Patient" star approached her at a party in London two years ago, plied her with champagne and seduced her.
They have been together more than 30 times since then, she told the Mail, adding she suspects she was not the only one Fiennes was seeing at the time.
"He was a cheat," she told the Mail on Sunday. "He used me to be there always for him, whether he needed someone to talk to or wanted a cuddle or to make love."
Neither Fiennes nor his reps would comment on the report.
