'When a Stranger Calls' tops box office

HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- In its debut week, "When a Stranger Calls" grossed $22 million and topped the U.S. box office, boxofficemojo.com estimated Sunday.

"Big Momma's House" made $13 million last week for a total box office of $45 million, "Nanny McPhee" made $9.9 million for a total box office of $27 million and "Brokeback Mountain" made $5.7 million for a total box office of $60 million.

"Hoodwinked" made $5.3 million for a total box office of $44 million and "Underworld: Evolution" made $5 million for a total box office of $53 million.

"Something New" grossed $5 million its premier week.

"Annapolis" made $3.5 million for a total box office of $13 million, while "Walk the Line" made $3.4 million for a total box office of $111 million and "Glory Road" made $3 million for a total box office of $39 million.
