NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- "The Sopranos" star Dominic "Uncle Junior" Chianese has taped a variety/talk show he's shopping around with the aim of a fall 2007 premiere.

Chainese taped his pilot at New York's West Bank Cafe last week in front of a packed house that included many of his HBO co-stars, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

The actor, who is also an accomplished singer, told the Post he wants to do "the kind of show the whole family can have fun watching."

"The Sopranos" begins its sixth and final season on HBO in March.
