Redford and Newman reunited for TV

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Robert Redford and Paul Newman will reunite for an episode of the Sundance Channel's six-part documentary series "Iconoclasts."

Redford -- founder of the cable network and executive producer of "Iconoclasts" -- will interview Newman, his co-star in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "The Sting," Daily Variety reports.

Another pairing will have actress Renée Zellweger interviewing CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour, Variety said.

The series kicks off Nov. 17 with actor Samuel L. Jackson interviewing basketball legend Bill Russell. Other episodes will feature fashion designer Tom Ford and artist Jeff Koons and chef Mario Batali interviewing R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe.

The Redford-Newman episode wraps up the series on Dec. 22.
