'NSYNC members optimistic about reunion

HOLLYWOOD, June 2 (UPI) -- Two members of 'NSYNC say the five-member boy band may reunite one day even though Justin Timberlake is cutting his next solo album.

"There may be a possibility that we will get a bug up our butts one day and say, 'Hey, let's do it again.' Honestly, you never know," Joey Fatone told MTV.com.

"It might be five years from now, it might be a year from now, but we will definitely do some more music," Lance Bass said.

The new song from the reunited Backstreet Boys "gives us hope and inspiration we will have a new album," Bass said.

Fatonesaid he keeps in touch with Timberlake, whose new solo album work prompted talk he may formally leave 'NSYNC.

"We didn't split up because everyone hated each other," Fatone said.

After seven years, 'NSYNC decided "let's take a break and see if anything else sticks and then we'll come back maybe later on."
