"Battlestar Galactica" is the channel's Friday night anchor and averages more than 3 million viewers per week, Zap2it.com reported Monday.
All of its stars -- Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer and Grace Park -- will be on board for Season 2, along with executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick.
"Stargate SG-1" is Sci Fi's most venerable original drama and will add in its ninth season Emmy winner Beau Bridges, Oscar winner Lou Gossett Jr. and "Farscape" star Claudia Black in recurring roles. Bridges will also cross over into "Stargate Atlantis." The Friday shows will start their new season July 15.
Sci Fi also announced its Wednesday lineup led by the new unscripted drama "Master Blasters" kicks off July 27. "Ghost Hunters" returns that night for its second season along with the animated comedy "Tripping the Rift."
