Mother of Jackson accuser testifies

SANTA MARIA, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- The mother of Michael Jackson's accuser testified in the pop star's child molestation trial the entertainer dominated their lives.

She said Thursday Jackson and his entourage planned to move her and her three children to Brazil and then have them "disappear," the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

The woman also said Jackson's assistants withdrew her children from their Los Angeles school without her knowledge and threatened to kill her boyfriend and elderly parents.

In addition, she testified that at no time did she bring her concerns to the attention of authorities.

Besides child molestation, Jackson, is charged with conspiring to hold the family captive at his Santa Ynez Valley estate. If convicted of all charges, to which he has pleaded innocent, he could face more than 20 years in prison.
