'Star Wars' toys herald series finale

DETROIT, March 31 (UPI) -- "Star Wars" toys and games based on "Revenge of the Sith" hit store shelves Saturday and merchants hope the force -- and the fans -- are with them.

The movie, "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith," last in the prequel trilogy, won't open until May 19, but retailers and fans are getting hyped.

The new toys include action figures ($5.99-$9.99), electronic lightsabers ($19.99) and a Star Wars DVD edition of Trivial Pursuit ($49.99), the Detroit Free Press said.

Meijer, Wal-Mart and Toys "R" Us stores say they will start selling the items at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
