NEW YORK, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- The Sotheby's in New York is offering another set of mementos of JFK and Jackie O that is expected to fetch more than $1 million.
The items will be auctioned next week but already the auction house is drawing big crowds for a sneak preview, reports the New York Daily News.
Many are buying the $50 catalog of the items that will be sold Feb. 15 through Feb. 17.
Veterinarian Linda Kutrubes said the second such auction in nine years affords a chance to see some of the late First Lady's less glamorous things.
"I don't want to see her jewelry - I want to see her saddle," said Kutrubes.
Items on preview are from five Kennedy family homes and the White House. Among them are a rocking chair of President John Kennedy, a portrait of Jackie with Caroline and John Jr. from her New York apartment and a silver-topped gold, sapphire and diamond brooch.
A 1996 auction of Jackie O's possessions - held two years after her death - raised $34.5 million.
